Overview

In the cybersecurity industry, analysts are often drowning in data, while C-level executives struggle to answer a simple question: "Are we safe?" I identified a gap in existing tools that prioritize technical jargon over business context. For this project, I designed and developed a "CISO Dashboard" that translates thousands of technical alerts into actionable business intelligence.

Solution

I built a dual-layer interface that serves two distinct user personas within the same view.

For the Manager: I designed a high-level "Security Health Score" and a "Risk Exposure" KPI card. I created a custom visualization using the Tremor library to group vulnerabilities by Business Impact (e.g., "Financial Risk") rather than just CVSS score.
For the Analyst: I built a "Remediation Workbench" with a Kanban-style workflow ("To Do," "In Progress," "Validation"). I developed a detailed "Remediation Modal" that splits information into "Business Risk" (for context) and "Technical Fix" (copy-pasteable CLI commands), bridging the communication gap between management and engineering.
Architecture: I structured the app with a persistent layout wrapper and a React Router-based navigation system to simulate a real-world SaaS architecture, including a realistic "Settings" configuration flow for API integrations (PagerDuty/Slack).

Results

Data Efficiency: The dashboard design reduces the time required to identify "Critical Business Risks" from minutes of spreadsheet filtering to a sub-second glance.
Technical Growth: This project honed my skills in React data handling, specifically in transforming raw JSON datasets into meaningful visualizations. It also demonstrated my ability to use "Enterprise-grade" UI libraries like Tremor to build professional, clean interfaces rapidly.
